Klaricid belongs to a group of medicines called macrolide antibiotics. Antibiotics stop the growth of bacteria (Bugs) that cause infections. Clarithromycin 125 mg/5 ml suspension is indicated in infants and children, for the treatment of the following acute and chronic infections, when caused by clarithromycin susceptible organisms.
